There are days when it's difficult to stay the course and other paths beckon, but they are deceptive and lead only into the storm.
This is a personal piece...the pictures were taken over a year apart with two different cameras, and the compositing's a bit sloppy but I was too tired to get too picky. It's also borderless because I am using it as wallpaper, hahaha...For you AZ folks, that's I-10 East, near the 51 North/Loop 202 interchange
... great job with one wicked cloud shot; your creativity with imaginative photomanips always surprise me... I love the colors in this, and the fact that you were able to capture the freeway without a single car on it (but then that's AZ for you; I bet you have a lot of opportunities like that!)...
... it's hard to comment on something like this, as I know how tedious compositing can get, especially where the trees meet the sky... I'm wondering if you added a red-orange tint to the freeway, it might tighten the illusion? I can't tell whether that would be better or worse, because the concrete has such a great contrasting yellowish hue against the sky, it evokes this great eerie, unsettling feeling to it all...
... either way, this is awesome! ... keep it up!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
