Taken at almost exactly the same spot as The Nexus as an early morning storm drifts eastward, the magical scent of desert rain in its wake.

Quite a fitting visual metaphor...

Despite all the gloom and doom in our lives, there's always a small opening of bright hope and sunshine, as you've captured here with the small opening of blue sky in the clouds to the right...
We just have to look for that hope and reach out to that patch of blue sky to overcome the enveloping darkness...

Admittedly, I am not the one to typically make comments and "optimistic" observations like that, but for some reason tonight that's what struck me when I saw this for the first time.

Wow, shockingly beautiful. I love seeing a front of rain passing by, the light, the clouds, the intensity of it is just so darn cool. As is this pic.

now 'this' is a gorgeous shot. it reminds me so much of the beautifull sky from when i went on this horseriding camp out in the country - oh we saw some amazing sights then, we did. simply brilliant =)

I think I like this one even better! For some reason, I like the fact that there's a smaller range of colors. I think it creates more drama.
